Biography
Harold Silverman is one of the profession's leading authorities on internal audit quality, an advisor to audit leaders worldwide, recognized for his contributions to advancing the profession. He leads Risk Advisory and Quality Services at the firm, having transformed internal audit functions across industries and sectors for more than 25 years.
Most recently, as Senior Director of CAE Services at The Institute of Internal Auditors, Harold advised hundreds of audit leaders worldwide, helped shape the 2024 Global Internal Audit Standards, and became one of the profession's most visible voices on audit quality. That authority anchors his work at Cherry Hill, where he leads the Internal Audit Quality Assessment practice and its proprietary Q360™ methodology, which turns conformance with the 2024 Standards into a competitive advantage: actionable insight, not just a compliance grade.
His corporate career includes Vice President of Internal Audit at The Wendy's Company and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, with earlier audit leadership at Raytheon and Big Four experience at PwC.
